A deep black-cherry color, this wine has aromas of black currant and anise. Flavors of cherry, chocolate, coffee and orange peel are joined by a touch of mint. Smooth and bright, the wine’s velvety tannins coat the mouth right into the orange-peel finish.

Dry red wine produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Upper Galilee. After having undergone extended fermentation with skins still on, the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. In order to preserve it's full potential, the wine was not fined and only coarsely filtered prior to bottling, therefore natural sediment may appear during bottle maturation. Made with love from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in Israel's Upper Galilee region. The skins were left on for a full, rich flavor, and after 12 months in French oak barrels, the wine is ready to impress. No extra processing here- just a pure, unfiltered indulgent experience. (Watch out for sediment, though! It's natural and signals you're about to taste something truly special.)

Kosher Wine

Kosher wine is made just like other table wine, with an extra set of rules to make it consistent with Jewish dietary law. In order for a wine to be deemed kosher (Yiddish for "proper" or "fit"), it must be made under the supervision of a rabbi. The wine must contain only kosher ingredients (including yeast and fining agents), and it must be processed using equipment rabbinically certified to make kosher wines. No preservatives or artificial colors may be added. The wine can only be handled -- from the vine to the wineglass -- by Sabbath-observant Jews, unless the wine is mevushal. Mevushal wines, unlike ordinary kosher wines, can be handled and served by non-Jews. To be considered mevushal, a wine must be heated to 185 degrees F. Extended exposure to high temperatures can threaten a wine's character, but producers have developed flash-pasteurization techniques that minimize the effect on the wine's flavor.
