Yola Mezcal Artesanal honors a family legacy dating back to 1971, crafted with organic agave from our Oaxaca estate using time-honored techniques. Our extended roasting process—75 to 96 hours depending on season—develops deeper complexity than standard mezcals. We hand-crush the roasted agave using traditional stone wheels, then ferment for six days with wild yeasts and spring water before double-distilling in copper pot stills. Founded and operated by women, we're committed to empowering our Oaxacan partners through fair wages and childcare support. Our vertically integrated production prioritizes sustainability: low-wood distilling, solar energy, rainwater collection, and support for local reforestation. Every bottle is hand-filled at our all-female facility, ensuring quality from plant to glass.
