A very welcoming Junmai from a brewery known for their Ginjo sakes. The nose is filled with grain, cocoa, rice, blueberry jam, and crème brûlée elements. Behold a rich, round and solid Junmai that is incredibly smooth and soft, but has a backbone of flavors that says this sake is not only sexy, but confident. Look for layers of rice, grains, and cocoa expressions on a solid flow that feels great in the mouth. In a word, this brew drinks dry through and through, but there are rich semi-sweet tones of hot chocolate and oatmeal that get more pronounced as the sake warms in the glass. Very nice at room temperature, and good for warming.
