Côtes de Provence
Côtes de Provence is a wine region in southeastern France, famous for producing about 90% rosé wines that are pale, dry, and delicately fruity with notes of berries and herbs. The vineyards stretch from the Mediterranean coast inland, benefiting from a sunny climate and cooling mistral winds. Key grape varieties include Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Rolle (Vermentino) for whites. The region also makes small amounts of fresh white wines and light, spicy reds. Côtes de Provence rosé pairs beautifully with Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, and light dishes.
