Burgundy

The wines from Burgundy are known for their complexity, elegance, and terroir-driven characteristics. Terroir refers to the unique combination of soil, climate, and geography that gives Burgundy wines their distinct taste and aroma. Burgundy wines are also known for their aging potential, with some of the best wines from the region able to age for decades and even centuries.  Burgundy is divided into five main wine-growing regions: Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise, and Mâconnais. Each region has its own unique characteristics and produces different styles of wine.
