The rock solid 2016 Vacqueyras Jean-Marie Arnoux is certainly an impressive wine. Notes of black raspberries, toasted spice, dried earth and some cured meats all flow to a medium-bodied, supple, seamless effort that's loaded with charm. Made from 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and the balance Mourvèdre, drink it over the coming 4-6 years.
A deep and brilliant purple color. This wine offers a powerful bouquet of red fruit, accented with delicate spicy notes. The wine is full-bodied, round and structured, but elegant silky tannins.
