ProducerBeni di Batasiolo
Batasiolo Barolo Brunate is a serious single-cru Barolo from one of the appellation's most prestigious vineyard sites โ Brunate, a celebrated cru in La Morra known for producing wines of remarkable elegance, perfume, and aromatic intensity. The Dogliani family at Beni di Batasiolo has been crafting Piedmontese wines since 1978, and their flagship cru bottlings represent the pinnacle of their nine-estate operation. Made from 100% Nebbiolo aged in oak according to traditional Piedmontese practice. The nose opens with iconic Barolo aromatics: dried rose petal, sour cherry, leather, tar, dried herbs, sweet tobacco, and the unmistakable wisp of truffle. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with the variety's signature firm tannic grip, vibrant acidity, layered dried fruit, and a long, savory finish that announces serious cellar potential. Built to age beautifully for 10+ years, evolving toward classic earthy Barolo complexity. Pair it with braised beef, ossobuco, truffle pasta, or aged Parmigiano for a memorable Piemontese table.
