ProducerBeni di Batasiolo
Batasiolo Barolo Cerequio is a powerful single-cru Barolo from one of the appellation's most acclaimed vineyards โ Cerequio, a celebrated cru spanning the border of La Morra and Barolo known for producing rich, structured wines with exceptional aging potential. The Dogliani family has been crafting Piedmontese wines at Beni di Batasiolo since 1978, and their cru-designated bottlings represent the very top of their portfolio. Made from 100% Nebbiolo aged in oak following traditional Piedmontese winemaking. The nose offers classic Cerequio aromatics: dried red rose, sour cherry, sweet leather, tar, dried herbs, tobacco, and a developing thread of truffle. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and concentrated with the variety's signature firm tannic structure, vibrant acidity, layered fruit, and a long, savory finish that delivers serious presence. Built for cellaring 15+ years, this is Barolo at its most ambitious. Pair it with braised beef short ribs, truffle risotto, wild game, or simply give it time to open in a generous Burgundy-style glass.
