Darker, riper and more concentrated than the Les Aspres bottling, the 2017 Cotes du Roussillon Villages Tautavel Grand Terroir offers blueberries, black cherries and licorice notes on the nose. It's full-bodied and supple, with a creamy mouthfeel and a long, velvety finish that hints at chocolate and plums. Nicely done!
