ProducerBlair Athol
Blair Athol 25 Year Single Malt Cask Strength is a coveted, age-statement Highland single malt from one of Scotland's most historic distilleries โ Blair Athol, founded in 1798 in the Perthshire town of Pitlochry. Most of Blair Athol's malt traditionally goes into Bell's blended Scotch, making single-malt cask-strength bottlings genuinely rare and collectible. Bottled at a robust 116.8 proof (58.4% ABV) without chill filtration to preserve full texture and complexity. The pour shows a stunning deep amber-mahogany hue developed over 25 years of patient maturation. The nose opens with rich dark chocolate, candied orange peel, dried fig, leather, sweet pipe tobacco, and warm honey. On the palate, expect a viscous, oily mouthfeel with concentrated dried fruit, baking spice, dark caramel, leather, and the signature Highland nuttiness. The finish is exceptionally long with lingering oak spice, sweet sherry-like notes, and warm dried fruit. A serious collector's bottle worth savoring slowly with a single drop of water โ neat or with cigars.
