Product Description

Dry red wine produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Upper Galilee. After having undergone extended fermentation with skins still on, the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. In order to preserve it's full potential, the wine was not fined and only coarsely filtered prior to bottling, therefore natural sediment may appear during bottle maturation. Made with love from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in Israel's Upper Galilee region. The skins were left on for a full, rich flavor, and after 12 months in French oak barrels, the wine is ready to impress. No extra processing here- just a pure, unfiltered indulgent experience. (Watch out for sediment, though! It's natural and signals you're about to taste something truly special.)

A deep black-cherry color, this wine has aromas of black currant and anise. Flavors of cherry, chocolate, coffee and orange peel are joined by a touch of mint. Smooth and bright, the wine’s velvety tannins coat the mouth right into the orange-peel finish.

A noble variety bestowed with both power and concentration, Cabernet Sauvignon enjoys success all over the globe, its best examples showing potential to age beautifully for decades. Cabernet Sauvignon flourishes in Bordeaux's Medoc where it is often blended with Merlot and smaller amounts of some combination of Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. In the Napa Valley, ‘Cab’ is responsible for some of the world’s most prestigious, age-worthy and sought-after “cult” wines. Somm Secret—DNA profiling in 1997 revealed that Cabernet Sauvignon was born from a spontaneous crossing of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc in 17th century southwest France.
