About This Wine
Very similar in character to Barolo, but more delicate and accessible in its youth, Michele Chiarlos Barbaresco is a powerful, robust wine of great longevity. Deep garnet-red in color with orange highlights, it shows an intense bouquet reminiscent of violets; on the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with layers of rich fruit nuances and a long finish.
