Founded in 1280, the castle was built over the centuries to become a beautiful building surrounded by vineyards, woods and springs, one of which feeds a charming fishpond. Acquired in 2013 by Edwige and Olivier Michon, the property turns a new page with facilities at the cutting edge of technical innovation designed for the comfort of the team as well as for that of the wine in a spirit of preservation of an exceptional natural environment.

This wine is richly structured, with fine tannins from both the fruit and wood aging. The wine's power is mitigated by juicy black-currant flavors and the great ripeness. Best after 2024.
Spice, olive paste and black pepper set the tone here, as does the lovely dark plum color. A crรจme de cassis twist through the finish suggests high alcohol, but this is an enjoyable wine. HVE3, 30hl/ha yield, gravel soils.
