
On the northern border of the acclaimed Pomerol region, Lalande de Pomerol is an incredible source of impressive Merlot-based wines, but at a fraction of the price compared to its southern neighbor. The region has the potential to offer the same concentration of the finest in Pomerol, but typically not without a touch of appealing rusticity.
Beautiful, fresh, almost crunchy fruits of black cherry and mulberries emerge from the 2020 Château Siaurac, and it’s medium-bodied on the palate, with bright acidity and a balanced, clean, layered style that has lots to love.
Aromas of blackcurrants and blackberries with tobacco, dark spices and cedar. Medium-bodied with chewy tannins and a juicy fruit character. Flavorful and delicious. 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc. Drink or hold.
