From Dalton Winery's M-Series, this Mevushal Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Upper Galilee vineyards in northern Israel and aged ten months in a mix of French and American oak. It's certified Mevushal under the OU — flash-pasteurized to retain kosher status when handled outside an observant setting — without sacrificing varietal character or structure.
The wine pours a deep ruby red, opening with fresh black currant, dark berry and a touch of cedar. The palate is rich and well-balanced: ripe cassis and plum, soft vanilla from oak ageing, and a smooth tannic frame that carries into a long, gently spiced finish. 12.5% ABV. Pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, hearty stews, brisket or aged hard cheeses.
