Daniel Dampt Chablis Premier Cru Les Vaillons 750ml
Product Description
This is pretty much as good as it gets - and trust me, I'm one of the most finicky critics out there when it comes to Chablis. There's a lot of factors at play here, the biggest being that many wines claiming to be from specific vineyards aren't actually held to that standard. Ridiculous, right? But that's just the beginning. Soil and weather also have a huge impact, and when the Premier Cru vineyards expanded in the 80s, they included some very different soil types that result in unique wines. And to top it off, there's a lot of variability among producers. So, to find the diamonds in the rough, I have to taste every single Chablis, every single year - no exceptions. But when I discover a true winner, it's like finding a unicorn - some of the best white wine in the world, capable of aging for decades, and at a fraction of the cost of a Corton-Charlem It's a true gem of a wine, and I'm happy to share my findings with you. Vineyards, soil, and weather all come together in a magical way to produce this unique flavor. (I mean, some people search for unicorns, but I search for the perfect wine). And let me tell you, it's worth the effort. Not only is it one of the best white wines out there, but it's also a bargain compared to other top-tier wines. So hop on this "unicorn" and enjoy the ride (or serve it with your favorite fancy dish).
