Domaine Séguinot-Bordet Chablis Premier Cru is a serious, terroir-driven Chablis from one of the most respected family estates in the appellation. The Séguinot-Bordet family has farmed Chablis vines since 1590, making this one of the oldest continuously operating wine families in Burgundy — fifteen generations of stewardship. Made from 100% Chardonnay aged in stainless steel to preserve the bracing freshness and signature minerality that define great Chablis. The Premier Cru designation marks the appellation's elite vineyard parcels with optimal aspect and the Kimmeridgian limestone soils famed for their fossil-rich character. The nose opens with green apple, lemon zest, white flowers, and a clear chalky-saline note that signals serious Chablis terroir. On the palate, the wine is bone-dry, crisp, and energetic — vibrant acidity carries clean orchard fruit straight into a long, mineral-driven finish that practically begs for shellfish. Pair it with raw oysters, sushi, goat cheese, lemon-roasted chicken, or any seafood dish that benefits from a precise, mineral-driven white.
