ProducerFamille Jaume
Famille Jaume Côtes du Rhône is a generous, easy-drinking southern French red from a fifth-generation family estate based in Vinsobres — one of the most respected villages in the southern Rhône. The Jaume family has been crafting wine here for over a century, and the founder's great-grandfather was a pioneering force behind the Côtes du Rhône appellation when it was created in 1937. Cultivating 92 hectares across two distinct terroirs of hillside and rolling hills, the estate is a true reference for the appellation. The blend leans heavily on Grenache (70%) with Syrah (20%) and Mourvèdre (10%) rounding out the cuvée. The nose opens with ripe red cherry, juicy plum, dried herbs, and the unmistakable scent of garrigue — that warm Mediterranean aroma of thyme, rosemary, and lavender. On the palate, expect medium body, soft tannins, vibrant fruit, and a fresh, savory finish that makes the wine genuinely food-friendly. Pair it with grilled lamb, pork roast, ratatouille, charcuterie, or pizza for a true taste of Provençal everyday drinking.
