ProducerJean-Marc Boillot
From the highly regarded Jean-Marc Boillot estate — a Pommard-based grower-négociant whose family has tended vines in Burgundy for generations. This Premier Cru Montagny comes from the southern Côte Chalonnaise, where Chardonnay produces some of Burgundy's most honest, terroir-driven whites at far gentler prices than the Côte d'Or.
A focused, mineral-driven Chardonnay: bright citrus and white-orchard fruit, gentle hazelnut and barrel notes, with a long, chalky finish. 750ml. Serve well chilled (10-12°C). A natural pairing for roast chicken, sole meunière, gruyère, mushroom risotto and creamy seafood dishes. Excellent now and over the next 3-5 years.
