ProducerJoseph Drouhin
Joseph Drouhin Bourgogne Pinot Noir Laforêt is a textbook regional Bourgogne from one of Burgundy's most celebrated houses — Maison Joseph Drouhin, founded in 1880 in the heart of Beaune and now in its fourth generation of family ownership. Drouhin is widely regarded as one of the great names in Burgundy, with a vast holding of estate vineyards across the most prestigious appellations of the Côte d'Or. "Laforêt" is the entry-level cuvée — a multi-vineyard blend designed to deliver authentic Burgundian character at an approachable price. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grown across Drouhin's network of growers throughout Burgundy. The nose opens with fresh red cherry, raspberry, violet, sweet baking spice, and a wisp of forest floor. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with refined tannins, vibrant acidity, juicy red fruit, and a clean, perfumed finish. A genuine introduction to Burgundian Pinot Noir at a thoroughly fair price. Pair it with roast chicken, mushroom dishes, charcuterie, lamb, or creamy soft cheeses for a textbook Burgundy match.
