Made from a blend of vines of varying ages (between 3 and 45 years old) and different types of soil, this wine is produced from vines located in the commune of Pouilly-sur-Loire and is planted exclusively with Sauvignon Blanc grapes. This Pouilly-Fumé has a light yellow colour with green highlights. The Pouilly terroir, composed of Kimmeridgian marl, hard limestone and flint, gives Pouilly Fumé its minerality, its finesse and its character, which is sometimes fresh and lively, sometimes frank and long on the palate, without ever forgetting the omnipresent fruit. It goes remarkably well with shellfish, fish, goat's cheese and also cold meats.
