Mandrarossa Etna Bianco is a striking, mineral-driven white from Sicily's most exciting wine region โ the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna. Made by Mandrarossa, the premium label of the renowned Cantine Settesoli cooperative, which has spent over twenty years studying Sicilian terroirs to find ideal sites for each grape variety. The Etna DOC region produces wines of remarkable freshness and minerality thanks to high-elevation vineyards, volcanic black soils, and dramatic temperature swings. The wine is built primarily on Carricante โ Etna's signature white grape, native to the volcano's slopes for centuries. The nose opens with fresh green apple, lemon zest, white flower, sea spray, and the unmistakable smoky, ashy minerality that signals Etna terroir. On the palate, expect crisp acidity, juicy citrus and stone fruit, a pleasantly saline texture, and a long, mineral-driven finish that's almost electric in its precision. A serious Sicilian white that deserves recognition far beyond the island. Pair it with grilled fish, raw shellfish, sushi, lemon-roasted chicken, or any dish craving bright, mineral-driven white wine.
