ProducerMarchand-Tawse
Marchand-Tawse Nuits-Saint-Georges is a serious red Burgundy from a rising-star négociant project led by Pascal Marchand, the celebrated Canadian-born winemaker known for his technical precision and decade-long tenure as winemaker at Comte Armand and Domaine de la Vougeraie. Marchand-Tawse — Pascal's joint venture with Canadian businessman Moray Tawse — has earned international acclaim for crafting some of Burgundy's most thoughtful, age-worthy wines. Made from 100% Pinot Noir aged thoughtfully in oak following Pascal's signature precision-driven approach. The nose opens with red and black cherry, raspberry, dried rose petal, sweet baking spice, and a wisp of forest floor and warm earth. On the palate, the wine is medium-to-full bodied with refined tannins, vibrant acidity, layered fruit, and a long, perfumed finish that delivers serious Côte de Nuits pedigree. Built for both immediate enjoyment and short-to-medium cellaring. Pair it with roast game, duck, beef bourguignon, mushroom dishes, or aged hard cheeses for a memorable experience.
