Mauro Molino Barolo 750ml
Professional ReviewWine Advocate: 92 Points
The 2018 Barolo is a lean and lively expression with wild cherry, licorice, rose water and crushed stone. Made from a blend of fruit from Annunziata and Berri in La Morra and Perno in Monforte d'Alba, this is a classic, lean-bodied Nebbiolo with an elegant close.James Suckling: 91 Points
This needs plenty of air to lose the immediate, bland fruit-toffee notes and reveal some more delicate red-berry, cherry and rose aromas that follow through to the medium-bodied palate, where some fine tannin takes a hold on the fruit and provides a decent, spicy fruit finish. Give it a year. Best after 2023.
