ProducerNaudin-Varrault
Naudin-Varrault Meursault Premier Cru is a serious, age-worthy white Burgundy from one of the Côte de Beaune's most celebrated villages — Meursault, the appellation that helped define what great Chardonnay can be. Naudin-Varrault is a respected family domaine working in the heart of Beaune, with deep roots in traditional Burgundian winemaking. The Premier Cru designation marks the appellation's elite vineyard parcels with optimal aspect and the limestone-rich soils that make Meursault one of the world's gold standards for Chardonnay. Made from 100% Chardonnay aged thoughtfully in French oak. The nose opens with ripe yellow apple, white peach, hazelnut, lemon curd, sweet vanilla, and the unmistakable thread of flint and limestone minerality. On the palate, the wine is layered and richly textured with creamy stone fruit, vibrant acidity, gentle oak integration, and a long, mineral-driven finish that announces serious Burgundian pedigree. Built to age beautifully for 5–10 years. Pair with butter-poached lobster, roast chicken, mushroom risotto, or soft-aged cheeses.
