A traditional Turkish raki distilled from grapes and aromatized with aniseed — the signature spirit of Turkey, central to the country's dining culture. Tekirdağ, a coastal region west of Istanbul, is one of the historic homes of Turkish raki production.

Clear and aromatic in the bottle, raki turns milky-white when cold water is added — the classic “lion's milk” («lion's milk» / "aslan sütü") ritual.
