This is the first release of Tequila Ocho Puntas, an overproof expression of the brand’s award-winning Plata tequila, masterfully cut by the distiller from the end of the heads and beginning of the heart of the distillation, and meant for the tequila connoisseur who enjoys the full essence of the agave plant. 

The tequila comes off the still at 128 proof and it's then cut to 101 proof with spring water from the Tequila Ocho Distillery in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico. Like other Tequila Ocho bottlings, this tequila was made from one harvest in one location. In this case the agaves were harvested from the Camarena family rancho "La Ladera" in 2021
