Co-owned by actor George Clooney and nightlife impresario Rande Gerber, this blanco is smooth and light. The aromas are restrained, but on the palate look for mild agave sweetness backed by lemon zest, ginger and white pepper sparks, plus a candied lemon-peel note on the gentle exit

Casamigos, a small batch, ultra-premium tequila made from the finest, hand-selected 100% Blue Weber agaves, grown in the rich red clay and cool climate of the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico for a minimum of seven years. After harvest, the agave piñas are roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours, before undergoing an extra-slow fermentation process over an additional eighty hours, nearly double the industry standard.

Casamigos Blanco Tequila rests for 2 months and is crisp and clean with hints of citrus, vanilla and sweet agave, with a long smooth finish. Casamigos Blanco is best served neat on the rocks or as a perfect base for cocktails such as the classic margarita. To make simply mix 2 oz Casamigos Blanco Tequila, 1 oz fresh lime juice, .25 oz fresh orange juice, .5 oz agave nectar, and .5 oz orange liqueur of your choice in a shaker. Add ice, shake vigorously and then strain into a rocks glass. Add fresh ice and garnish with a lime wheel.

Tequila

Tequila, a distilled spirit with cultural roots deeply embedded in Mexico, is crafted from the fermented juice of the blue agave plant. The distinctive production process involves harvesting and roasting the agave hearts, extracting their sweet juice, and fermenting it to produce the alcoholic beverage. Tequila is characterized by a range of flavors, from earthy and herbal to fruity and spicy, influenced by factors like the region of production and the aging process. There are various types of tequila, including Blanco (unaged), Reposado (aged up to one year), Añejo (aged one to three years), and Extra Añejo (aged over three years). Widely enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails like the classic Margarita, tequila has become a globally recognized and celebrated spirit.
