Description

Our master distiller teams up with Becks Hybrids each year to pick a fresh corn seed varietal, which is proudly showcased on the label alongside the unique mashbill. This mashbill differs from our classic Wheated Bourbon mashbill. And at 6 years old, the first edition of Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey has been aged in rickhouse W3 on the third, fourth, and fifth floors. It's bottled at a bold 121 proof, without chill filtration. The chosen corn seed varietal for this release was Becks 6158, resulting in a deep auburn color. The aroma is primarily walnuts and almonds, with hints of whole wheat bread, cedar, and oak. On the palate, you'll taste toasted whole wheat bread and delicious molasses, with a pleasantly unexpected kick of peppery spice. As you savor this fantastic whiskey, the peppery notes slowly fade away, revealing the lingering flavors of oak

Bourbon

Bourbon, a quintessentially American whiskey, stands out for its meticulous production process and distinctive flavor profile. Crafted predominantly from a mash bill containing at least 51% corn, the spirit undergoes aging in new charred oak barrels, contributing to its amber hue and imparting a unique combination of sweet and robust notes. With a complex palate that often includes flavors of caramel, vanilla, and a subtle undertone of spice, bourbon has become an iconic and cherished spirit, embodying the rich traditions of American whiskey-making while offering a delightful experience for enthusiasts seeking a nuanced and flavorful libation. Whether sipped neat, on the rocks, or incorporated into classic cocktails, bourbon remains a symbol of craftsmanship and heritage in the world of spirits.
