Domaine Gaillard is located in the heart of the Grand Nature Site of Burgundy’ Solutré. Roger Gaillard first established his estate with only one hectare of Pouilly-Fuissé vines in Vergisson commune. Gradually, the estate spanned over 11 hectares, with vineyards in Charnay-lès-Mâcon (Mâcon Villages), Davayé (Saint-Véran ), Solutré ( Pouilly-Fuissé), Vergisson ( Pouilly Fuissé ), Leynes ( Beaujolais villages) and Chasselas ( Saint Véran). Today, Roger and Romain Gaillard continue the family tradition of winemaking through varied Mâconnais wines.

The rocky hillsides of Solutré and Vergisson overlook Domaine Gaillard. It is very near to Mâcon, the railway station, and the town’s southernmost motorway exit. The winery applies their traditional approaches and passion for producing great tasting wines in the gorgeous setting of Solutré Pouilly Vergisson. Domaine Gaillard keeps a beautiful traditional stone vault as a symbol of their winemaking past, as well as modern equipment, allowing better control over the entire winemaking process.

Domaine Gaillard creates signature white wine and sparkling wine from Chardonnay grapes in Mâconnais. Their wines reflect the peculiarity of each vintage and characteristics of the vineyard because of their traditional winemaking approach. Winemakers at Domaine Gaillard create different aromas, textures, and tastes depending on the soil of their vineyards.
