
From the Piedmont wine region, Rizzi 2017 Barbera D'alba is a medium-bodied Barbera sourced from vines growing in white marl clay- calcareous and sandy soils. Grapes were hand-harvested and fermented in controlled-temperature stainless-steel tanks and aged in large oak casks, stainless-steel tank and concrete eggs. Vibrant and juicy on the nose with bright cherry, rose petals, plum, anise, cinnamon and ginger spice flavours. Finishes long and creamy on the palate. Pour with charcuterie and mature creamy cheeses.
